The Malaysian Congenital Heart Foundation (Yayasan Jantung Kongenital Malaysia, YJKM) and Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (HUSM) have signed a memorandum of agreement last Sunday to increase access to congenital heart care in the East Coast.

Profesor Datuk Seri Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed, USM Vice-Chancellor, shared at the event that every year, up to 300 children in Kelantan are born with a congenital heart defect.
